Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for Kids (5 – 9 Years Old)
The Program
I've personally researched various methods of teaching Martial Art and I’ve come
up with what I consider to be a innovative style that cultivates the best of Brazilian
Jiu Jitsu, contributing to fast progress and efficient learning.
Keys Areas in this Age Group
In the kids program I not only focus in self defense skills but also I’m looking
to develop some important key areas like:
- Listening and motor skills
- Coordination
- Flexibility and balance
- And finally respect and discipline
What we want to achieve
In our always fun classes we teach much more than just self defense. Through
various games we get them to enjoy the FUN of playing and learning martial arts. This gives the kids a
genuine sense of achievement. Our system will reward every single progress made giving them
the motivation to reach all targets. Once we boost their physical and mental level, they
will gain confidence. A kid with confidence is unstoppable and will succeed in all walks of life.
The Student and what to expect?
Firstly a martial art is not something to be looked at as a seasonal effort or school
program, but rather as a discipline that will develop positive skills in the life
of the child.
Secondly we don’t teach or approach our program like traditional martial arts programs
do.
The modern kids need to feel more appreciated and prized for the tiniest little
achievements. Jargons and old military style of teaching isn’t for everybody and
definitely isn’t in our program.
Finally the third and the biggest factor is every kid should be looked as a unique
individual, with his/her virtues and deficiencies.
They have different fears and obstacles to conquer, with different physic, strength
and abilities combined with different kinds of parents, homes and family values.
For that reason my approach and goal is to develop every kid to his or her personal
best level of proficiency. Not just oversee the entire group as one.
"Dear parents, the one thing I can personally guarantee, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training
can and will improve your child's life and enhance their prospect for the future."
