Congrats to Shaun, Lucas & Dylan at NSW championship
They were the only Ortiz academy representatives at the comp and they have done really well.
Shaun on the adults division 63kg under got a 4th place with a strong win on the first challenger.
Shaun lost the second match to a very experienced white belt 4 stripes with 19 months of training.
That was an awesome achievement well done Shaun.
Lucas on the teens division 55kg under got first place and dominated his division.
Lucas, now with the nickname medal, medal, medal, has challenged competitors from 2 different comps with 2 wins.
Well done Lucas.
Dylan on the kids division 26kg under had a very hard fight. His loss by 3 points and 2 advantage against 2 advantages.
It was hard match and very close score. My advice is keep training, and try to indentify the weaknesses in your game.
Cross training for competitors is a must like running, lifting weights and wrestling.
